Informed by decades of work studying and treating brain diseases in aging populations\, Dr. Pontone will tell the story of how new technologies are changing how and when we detect devastating brain diseases like Alzheimer’s. While early detection is a critical first step toward preventing dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions\, the current era has brought hope and anxiety in equal measure.
